How it started

We grew out of importing products for Japanese cuisine — seaweed, rice, sauces. Hence the old company motto, «Это вкусно», “this tastes good”. Today we ship whatever a client needs, from food to household appliances, but the habit of checking a product the way you would check food has stayed with us.

What we believe

• Paperwork is the product. Anyone can move a container. What is worth paying for is the batch arriving with documents that survive an audit.
• Problems get solved in China, not at customs. That is why our buyers visit the plant and explain Russian requirements to the factory before the batch reaches the line.
• A refusal beats a bad deal. If the volume is too small for our scheme, we say so immediately and point you to someone else. Taking a deposit and shrugging is not our method.
• We build for decades. We have worked with some suppliers for many years. Grab and run is a strategy that works once.

Our own product

We do not only ship for clients. Our own brand, Olbit — seaweed snacks — went the whole way: packaging design, placement at a factory, trademark registration and entry into supermarket chains. Rospatent has issued the decision to register the trademark. We walked that road ourselves, so we know where it sags.

The warehouse

A class A warehouse in Moscow — dry, heated, with high-bay racking. Goods stand on pallets in racks rather than on the floor and wait for dispatch in the same condition they arrived in. From there cargo goes out to clients across Russia.
